How does leadership coaching work?
The process of coaching focuses on the future. As your leadership coach, I’ll provide the questions and you provide the answers.
In this way, you create your own unique plan to follow and learn from. The person who is in charge of forging their own path toward success is more likely to succeed.
Coaching is a result and action-oriented technique. It is not psychology or therapy, and it is not meant to be a lifetime engagement.
Through a series of one-to-one sessions, we’ll begin the process of reaching a certain vision by learning how to ask the right questions, to get the right answers.

About me
I am Desislava Mihaylova. My hobbies are windsurfing, beginner in wing foiling, snowboarding, and my favorite - swimming in salty deep waters.
In the first part of my professional life, I was a Civil engineer, a master in diploma and mission, managing prominent reconstruction projects, all part of the cultural monument heritage of Sofia, Bulgaria.
The second part of my professional development I dedicated to psychology and more concretely the one in organizational business environment. A knowledge so interesting and needed these days, especially in terms of organizational development.
The journey from civil engineering to leadership coaching was a natural evolution for me. It's a transition that is driven by a deep understanding of human potential, honed by technical proficiency, and fueled by a passion for growth.
Through my own journey, I've harnessed these parallels to create a coaching approach that marries the best of both worlds.
I see leadership coaching through the eyes of a structural engineer focused on the main pillar of society— the individual as part of civilization.
Each one of us is an integral building block of society. By being the best, most high-performing versions of ourselves, we can create a better environment for all, in the workplace and beyond.

Education
I have a Master's in Civil Engineering from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia, Bulgaria. My second Master's is in Organizational psychology and Cross-cultural management from Sofia University. I am a certified practitioner coach in one of the largest and most successful Coaching Training organizations in the World - Noble Manhattan. I was certified in Yale University for prof. Paul Bloom's class in Introduction to Psychology. I have done and keep doing many coaching seminars by Simon Sinek, Tony Robbins, prof. Jordan Peterson, Esther Perel and many others. It is a constant development and curiosity.
Experience
My experience being for 20 years executive assistant to an entrepreneur is immense and kind of unreal. I was not only in charge of the most prominent restoration project of cultural monuments at the heart of Sofia city but also the main facilitator and organizer of the largest cultural events and progressive business visions. In HR I was responsible for over 1 5o0 people.
I had the possibility to be the first "in-house" coach at the largest telecom in Bulgaria.
I was a Marketing manager, Author and Member of the BoD of www.egoist.bg.
In my private practice, my clients include the leading digital media group, a variety of start-ups as well as multiple individuals.
